Ferreira Port Cellars in Porto
The Ferreira port cellars stand at Av. Ramos Pinto 70 in Vila Nova de Gaia, and they sell nine visit formats. This guide lists every visit Ferreira sells itself, with the price, the length and the wines each one pours, from the €23 entry visit to the €170 Exclusive Experience. It also covers the lunch break, the last tour times, the combo tickets with Serralves and Casa da Música, and the walk from both sides of the river. If you would rather book a guided port wine cellar tour through a platform, the Porto wine cellar tours homepage compares every listing across Gaia, and this page sticks to what Ferreira sells at the door.

Every Ferreira Visit and What It Pours
Ferreira sells nine visits itself, and the figures below come from Ferreira's own winetourism page. The prices are the cellar's own prices, printed in euros exactly as Ferreira states them.
The Full Price List
The table covers every visit Ferreira sells on its official winetourism page. Seven of the nine are port visits. Two, the Casa Ferreirinha Visit and the Premium Douro DOC Visit, pour Douro DOC table wines and contain no port at all.
Three visits are held in the Blue Tiles Room: the Porto Colheita, Porto Vintage and Exclusive experiences. The Workshop Ferreira Port Wine is the longest format at 3 hours, and the Porto Ferreira Exclusive Experience is the most expensive at €170. Figures come from Ferreira's official booking page.
| Visit | Price | Length | Wines |

Port Visits, Douro DOC Visits and the Combo Tickets
The port visits run from the 50-minute Porto Ferreira Visit at €23 up to the 3-hour Workshop at €100. If you want to understand what the difference is between a Ruby, a Colheita and a Vintage before choosing, the types of port wine page breaks the styles down. The Porto Colheita Visit at €45 and the Porto Vintage Visit at €55 both add the Blue Tiles Room, and the Exclusive Experience at €170 adds it too. The Dona Antónia Visit sits between them at €35 for 1h30 and 5 Ports.
Two visits pour no port whatsoever. The Casa Ferreirinha Visit at €23 lasts 50 minutes and pours 3 Douro DOC table wines, and the Premium Douro DOC Visit at €53 lasts 50 minutes and pours 5 of them. These suit anyone who does not drink fortified wine or wants to taste Douro table wines instead. IVDP defines Port itself as a fortified wine from the Douro demarcated region, usually 19-22% vol, so these two visits are a different category of drink.
Ferreira also sells two combo tickets that pair the cellar visit with a Porto cultural venue. Ferreira Cellars and Serralves costs €37.60, and Ferreira Cellars and Casa da Música costs €28. Each combo includes 3 Port wines with the cellar part. If you plan to visit Serralves park or hear a concert anyway, the €28 combo costs less than the €32 chocolate experience while still pouring 3 Ports.

Hours, Booking and the Lunch Break
Ferreira runs a split day with a long lunch break, so timing matters more here than at cellars that stay open through.
Opening Hours, Last Tours and Contact
The Ferreira cellars open daily 10:00-12:30 and 14:00-18:00. The last tour leaves at 12:15 in the morning window and at 17:15 in the afternoon window, so arrive with enough margin to buy a ticket before those times. The address is Av. Ramos Pinto 70, 4400-082 Vila Nova de Gaia. The phone number is +351 223 746 106.
The lunch break runs from 12:30 to 14:00, a 90-minute gap. The last morning tour leaves at 12:15, just before the break. If you arrive between 12:30 and 14:00 you will wait for the 14:00 reopening. The Teleférico de Gaia runs on its own seasonal hours, so check both timetables if you are chaining visits.
Because Ferreira sells its own visits and does not appear in the platform catalog, booking happens through Ferreira's winetourism page. If you would rather reserve a guided lodge visit online in advance with free cancellation, the comparison table on the homepage lists the bookable alternatives with card prices and ratings.

Getting to Ferreira
Ferreira stands at Av. Ramos Pinto 70 in Vila Nova de Gaia. Routes across from Porto are the Dom Luís I Bridge on foot and the cable car from Jardim do Morro down to Cais de Gaia.
From the Ribeira Side
From Porto's Ribeira riverfront the walk runs across the lower deck of the Dom Luís I Bridge, an iron arch built 1881-1886. The lower deck carries public transport and pedestrians. The sources give no official walking time for this crossing. The Metro do Porto fare table lists a Z2 single occasional ticket at €1.40, a 10-pack at €14 and a €0.60 Andante card.
No official figure states which metro zone covers the Gaia riverside stops, so treat any zone claim you read elsewhere with care. What is certain is the bridge itself: pedestrians may use both decks, the upper deck also carries metro line D, .
From Jardim do Morro
Jardim do Morro Metro station sits at the Gaia end of the bridge's upper deck, and the Gaia Cable Car upper station is right beside it. The cable car runs down to the Cais de Gaia riverside station, a ride that takes 3 minutes 45 seconds, and Andante tickets are not valid on it. Fares from the operator are adult one-way €7, child aged 5-12 one-way €3.50, adult return €10, child return €5, and a family return for 2 adults plus 2 children at €22.50, valid 30 days, VAT included.
The cable car hours change with the season: 10:00-20:00 from 26 April to 24 September, 10:00-19:00 in the shoulder seasons of 24 March to 25 April and 25 September to 24 October, and 10:00-18:00 from 25 October to 23 March. It closes only on Christmas Day. Alternatively, walk down from Jardim do Morro on foot.

A Second Cellar Nearby
Two other houses sell their own visits, and the catalog has bookable lodge tours if you want a platform ticket.
Sandeman and Ramos Pinto
Sandeman's cellars are at Largo Miguel Bombarda in Vila Nova de Gaia, and the Sogrape page prints the number as Nr. 47. Sandeman sells its visits on the same Sogrape platform. For prices and hours, see the separate Sandeman Porto guide.
Ramos Pinto's visitor centre stands on Av. Ramos Pinto, the same avenue as Ferreira, with the visitor centre page giving the number as 400 and the company footer giving 380. Ramos Pinto's own page prices three visits: the Classic Tasting at €20, the Prestige at €30 and the Heritage at €50. A Visit Porto listing quotes €10 for about 30 minutes, a clear conflict with the cellar's own figures, so trust the cellar. For the details, see the Ramos Pinto Porto guide.
Two Bookable Alternatives
Ferreira does not sell through the tour platforms, so if you want a prepaid ticket with free cancellation, two lodges are bookable in the catalog. The Cockburn's Port Lodge Tour costs $34, lasts 1.5 hours and includes a guided visit of the largest Port lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia with 3 ports, rated 4.8 from 4,417 reviews. The Taylor's Port Cellars Tour costs $28, runs 2-3 hours as a self-guided audio visit in 13 languages with 3 ports, rated 4.6 from 5,042 reviews.
Neither of those figures is a Ferreira price, and the two kinds of ticket are not compared like for like. For the full field, the homepage comparison table lines up every bookable visit with its card price, duration and rating.
